I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.

Joseph Bush was born in Quincy, Florida on September 26, 1949, to Lucious and Mamie Bush. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior, and united with Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, Orlando, Florida. He attended school in Grady County, and worked in the construction industry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucious Bush and Mamie Bush, one son, Derrick Bush, brothers, Oscar Bush, Jerry Bush, Cecil Bush and Arthur Lee Bush, sisters, Annette Bush and Hester Jackson

He leaves to cherish his remembrance: wife, Eva Hunter Bush; daughter, Cynthia Jones; two sons, Joseph Bush, Jr., Kenneth Bush (Sharlene), all of Orlando, Florida; daughter-in-law, Tiffany Alexander of Orlando, Florida; five brothers, Nathaniel Bush (Jeanell), Robert Bush, James Bush (Rosa), David Bush (Letha), all of Orlando, Florida, Calvin Bush of Sanford, Florida; two sisters, Anna Bush and Jessie Fudge both of Orlando, Florida; fifteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; six sisters-in-law; seven brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
