Obituary
Veronica Fung
Veronica Fung was born December 22, 1919 in Allendale, South Carolina to George and Louise Clark.
At the age of 3½ her mother and grandmother Mary Robinson moved to Orlando, Florida and joined Shiloh Baptist Church. At the age of 9 years she was baptized by Reverened T. C. Collier. Veronica was a dedicated servant unto the Lord, and served Him faithfully until her health began to decline.
While on this earthly journey, Veronica touched many lives and as a result was awarded various placques and awards including, but not limited to, her service for twenty-one years as State President of the Nursing Ministry of the Progressive M & E Baptist State Convention of Florida, and for her twelve years of service given as a Foster Grandparent.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Louise Clark and grandmother, Mary Robinson.
On Wednesday, June 30, 2010, the Lord dispatched an angel to the bedside of Veronica, who had been commissioned to personally escort her from her earthly home to her eternal home in glory. Her departure is a deep and personal loss to her family and many friends who will miss her deeply.
She leaves to cherish precious memories to: a devoted goddaughter, Paula Sadler of Orlando, Florida; adopted sister, Mildred Dunlap and family of Orlando, Florida; adopted brother, George Everette of New York and Family; many cousins and close friends. She leaves a legacy of love to, Greater Trinity Baptist Fellowship Church and her Pastor, Alvin White, Jr., Senior Pastor.
Dear Vern,
Thank you for being there for me after mommy passed away. I will always be grateful to you, Mother Dear and Mother Robinson for being my second mothers and introducing me to Jesus, Our Lord and Savior. Now rest in Peace and I am so happy to know that you are with JESUS in His Kingdom with Mother Dear and Mother Robinson. I will never forget you.
Always,
Paula
